SMTown Live In Paris Siap Digelar

Keluarga besar SM Entertainment kali ini siap merambah Eropa dalam konser yang bertajuk SM TOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR.

Pada tanggal 20 April 2011, SM Entertainment mengungkapkan bahwa konser SM Town Live cukup sukses ketika digelar di Seoul, LA, Tokyo, dan Shanghai. Menindaklanjuti kesuksesan tersebut, SM Entertainment pun bakal menggelar konser serupa di Perancis tepatnya di Le Zenith de Paris.

SM Entertainment merupakan managemen artis pertama Korea yang bakal menggelar konser kolaborasi di Eropa. Selain itu sebelum ini, venue yang mereka pilih juga sempat digunakan untuk konser Ne-Yo, The Pussycat Dolls, dan Jonas Brothers.

Bintang-bintang SME yang dijadwalkan tampil dalam konser tersebut antara lain Super Junior, TVXQ, SNSD, SHINee, dan f(x). Sebelum kedatangan mereka, salah satu TV di Eropa yang bernama 2TV sempat membuat laporan khusus tentang Hallyu Wave (Korean Wave) yang tengah melanda Eropa di mana artis-artis SM sebagai pusat dari 'kegilaan Eropa' terhadap K Pop.

Namun sayang, dalam konser nanti salah seorang penyanyi senior SM, yaitu BoA tidak bisa hadir sebab masih menjalani proses syuting di Toronto untuk film Hollywood terbarunya.

"Dari konser di Paris, kami berencana bahwa artis-artis dari management kami bakal melakukan kegiatan global - mulai dari Asia dan berkembang ke Amerika serta Eropa, dengan menggunakan keuntungan jaringan network yang luas," tegas SM Entertainment.

Kita tau bahwa kemaren baru aja selesai SS3 Di singapura. Dan kita juga tau ada beberapa ELF yang nonton disana. Dan kita juga tau bahwa kita sangat menginginkan Super Show itu untuk ada di negara kita... Di Gelora Bung Karno...

Silahkan menangislah ELF... karena mereka sudah sangat dekat dengan kita...

walaupun ada beberapa dari teman kita yang menonton kesana, kita harus tau ada beberapa ELF juga, yang walaupun dia punya cukup uang untuk terbang ke singapuram, mereka tidak mendapatkan tiketnya. Jadi, intinya adalah uang memang sangat penting untuk menonton mereka namun yang lebih penting dari itu adalah seberapa besar tingkat keberuntungan yang kita miliki, untuk bertemu dengan mereka.

Waktu KIFF yang mendatangkan SHINee kemaren, ada temanku yang punya uang untuk beli tiket, tapi nggak bisa karena tiket itu nggak dijual bebas. Waktu Kim Bum... temanku punya uang tapi dia kehabisan tiket waktu mau beli. see? MIRACLE is EVERYTHING.

ELFs sayang... Kita tau kan kalau kemaren tu Yesung oppa kita bilang bahwa 'wow... lebih dari 150 ELF Indonesia mentioned! Aku pikir kita harus mengadakan SS3 di Indonesia juga!'.

Yesung oppa bilang seperti itu pada kita, bukan tanpa alasan. Kata-kata dia mengisyaratkan bahwa ada juga keinginan oppa-oppa untuk mengunjungi SELURUH ELF di SELURUH DUNIA. Bukan tidak mungkin kalau mereka juga memikirkan sebelumnya, dari jauh hari, tentang kita.

Dan kalau kita boleh berkhayal, pastilah mereka sudah merencanakan sesuatu untuk kita, ELF Indonesia, supaya mereka kesini.

Emang bisa???

Mungkin itulah yang kalian pikirkan di otak kalian. Biaya untuk konser mereka pastilah sangat besar, apalagi untuk negara kita, yang pendapatan per kapitanya kecil dibanding singapura dan Korea selatan. Tapi apapun itu, kata-kata yesung oppa memberikan kita satu harapan lagi...

Masih ingatkah kalian tentang janji-janji mereka???

1. Saat Zhoumi dan Henry masuk sebagai member subgrup SJ-M, ELF korea menunggu 13 jam di depan kantor SM hanya untuk mempertahankan SUJU sebagai 13 member. Dan LEETEUK, Leader tersayang kita, bilang dan mengumumkan pada kita semua, pada seluruh dunia, BAHWA SUPER JUNIOR AKAN 13 SELAMANYA.

2. Leeteuk, berjanji lagi pada kita setelah operasi dari kecelakaan yang hampir merenggut nyawa Kyuhyun bahwa; SUPER JUNIOR AKAN TERUS TERBANG JAUH, BEKERJA KERAS HINGGA WARNA BIRU SAFIR MENYALA DI SELURUH DUNIA. Dan sekarang, warna biru kesayangan kita itu bahkan sudah sampai di Iran.

3. Leeteuk lagi, selalu BERTERIMAKASIH kepada ELF diseluruh dunia yang telah mendukung mereka dari awal sampai sejauh ini SETIAP SAAT MEMPEROLEH PENGHARGAAN.

4. Leeteuk lagi, bilang bahwa semua member super junior dan ELF adalah sebuah keluarga, terikat satu sama lain, terpengaruh satu sama lain.

5. SEMUA MEMBER SUPER JUNIOR, bilang bahwa mereka tidak ingin terpisah dari Suju karena di hati mereka ada satu tempat spesial untuk SUJU dan ELF yang tidak bisa digantikan dengan apapun.

6. SUJU bilang mereka akan tetap memakai nama belakang SUPER JUNIOR dimanapun walaupun acara itu bukan milik Super Junior. And Last but The best...

7. SUPER JUNIOR 'berencana' mengadakan SS3 di Indonesia, seperti yang telah Yesung oppa bilang.

ELFs,apa yang mereka bicarakan untuk kita adalah sebuah janji. Walaupun janji itu membuat kita sangat lama menunggu untuk direalisasikan, perlahan namun pasti, Janji itu dibuktikan. Warna kita sudah sampai ke Iran... Lagu SUJU sudah berkumandang sampai ke Brazi dan Prancis.

Mereka adalah World star. Mereka adalah kekasih kita. Mereka selalu setia. Mereka selalu menepati janjinya.

Maka, selalu PERCAYA-lah pada janji mereka...

Dan, selalu MENCINTAI mereka apa adanya...

juga, selalu MELINDUNGI mereka ketika sesuatu menimpa...

Mereka hanya punya kita, yang bisa menguatkan mereka.

Kita menangis bersama...

Kita merangkul satu sama lain...

Kita percaya satu sama lain...

Kita mencintai satu sama lain...

Kita melindungi satu sama lain...

Mereka sayang pada kita, makanya mereka memberikan kita harapan. Mereka tau ini semua sangat sulit buat kita, namun kita harus PERCAYA, karena itulah satu-satunya kekuatan yang akan tetap menjaga cinta kita, pada mereka. Leeteuk bilang... 'tak apa kalian mengikuti kami, asal kalian jangan terluka... apa ada yang terluka ketika mengikuti kami??? Aku khawatir sekali...'

Leader itu sangat sayang pada kita. Dia membiarkan kita untuk dekat, namun mengkhawatirkan diri kita karena kita akan terluka. Itu adalah bukti, kawan...

Dan sekali lagi, untuk apa yang dibicarakan yesung oppa pada kita kemarin, berikut adalah beberapa hal yang harus kita lakukan;

ELF sayang... tulisanku ini hanyalah sebuah curahan hatiku semata. Pandanganku tentang harapan dan janji yang mereka berikan. Aku tidak pernah kecewa jika mereka tidak menepati janji. Aku bersabar dan aku tau hari itu akan datang.

Aku tau, mendengar Yesung oppa berkata seperti itu saja membuatku menangis di pagi buta. Itu karena harapan dan mimpi yang seolah akan benar-benar terwujud. Berkaca dari KIFF kemarin, aku mulai mempercayai KEAJAIBAN. Seperti yang selalu Suju bilang.. Percaya pada mereka... dan BELIEVE in MIRACLE.

4.) Pada saat SS3 Singapura kemarin, ELF Indonesia memberi 10 medali emas asli untuk Super Junior, pada saat konser berlangsung, Eunhyuk memakai kalung tersebut. Dan akhir pres konfers member Super Junior terharu, karena telah mendapat medali dan berteima kasih kepada ELF Indonesia.

Super Junior’s next track of 2011 to be titled…?

Although we’ve heard no official news from SM Entertainment regarding Super Junior’s return to the music stage, a little net browsing by one of allkpop’s readers has revealed some details suggesting a comeback this year with an album.
The name GoodWill & MGI may not ring any bells for the average kpop fan, but the American-Finnish producing/songwriting duo makes up the brains behind numerous hit tracks in the United States and Europe.
Having opened their official website earlier this month, GoodWill & MGI’s discography page brags an impressive list of successful productions, as well as a section of upcoming songs to be released in 2011. Aside from a line-up of tracks for Justin Bieber (“Latin Girl”), Sean Kingston (“Wake Up the Neighbors,” “GO”), Lazee (“All That She Wants”) plus a collab between Akon, Timbaland & Pitbull (“Boomerang”), the selected discography page also lists Super Junior with a track titled, “Gotcha Numba.” Excited?

Interestingly enough, the German artist Jimi Blue is also listed right below Super Junior with a track of the same title, so there is a possibility that the songright was sold to both SM Entertainment and Universal Germany.

Heechul confirms that Super Junior has renewed contracts with SME

Amidst the contract controversies involving TVXQ/JYJ, Super Junior’s Hangeng and most recently Kara, SuJu member Heechul revealed today that he, along with his fellow members, have decided to renew their contracts with SM Entertainment.
On the January 19th radio broadcast of MBC’s Golden Fishery, Heechul stated, “Not long ago, I re-signed my contract with my agency.” Kim Gu Ra inquired, “Is that good news?” and Yong Jong Shin enviously quipped, “It means he’s received a lump sum. A lump sum,” drawing laughter.
Heechul also revealed that the rest of Super Junior had also decided to re-sign their contracts with SM Entertainment last November on his SBS radio program, Kim Heechul’s Young Street. The idol expressed his faith in SME, stating, “A man must live with loyalty.”
Heechul isn’t the first SME artist to talk about their statuses with SME; a few weeks ago, fellow bandmate Siwon and singer BoA spoke up about their hard work as artists and discomfort with the term ’slave contract.’

'Korean Wave' of pop culture sweeps across Asia

Super Junior is one of the most famous boy bands in Asia -- arguably even the world.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS

Shanghai, China (CNN) -- At the end of May, it was announced that a South Korean band called Super Junior would perform at the Shanghai World Expo. Free tickets would be released for those who arrived early on the day of the performance, which was scheduled for the evening of May 30.
On May 29, hundreds of fans, mostly young Chinese women, began lining up for tickets. By the next morning, that number had swelled to nearly 10,000, resulting in a scene so chaotic that police could barely control what turned into a stampede of thousands of girls clamoring for a chance to see one of the most famous boy bands in Asia, arguably even the world.
Super Junior is but one example of South Korean cultural exports, including popular music (called "K-pop") as well as television dramas, movies and video games, that have become wildly popular among young people across Asia.
Over the past decade, South Korea, with a population of around 50 million, has become the Hollywood of the East, churning out entertainment that is coveted by millions of fans stretching from Japan to Indonesia.

Boy band mayhem in South Korea

Koreans use the term "hallyu" to describe the phenomenon. It refers to the "Korean Wave" of entertainment that has swept across the shores of almost every single country in the region, even increasingly beyond. Some are now even referring to the trend as "hallyu-wood."
According to Sung Tae-Ho, a senior manager in the Korean Broadcasting System's content business office, part of the reason why the country's culture industry is so successful abroad stems from the fact that the content is high quality and also cheap, at least compared to entertainment that could be bought from other, particularly Western, markets. The Korean Broadcasting System, or KBS, is one of the country's four major television networks.
Culture also plays a role. Korean content, especially dramas, is as, if not more, popular than Western series because, simply put, Asians relate to it more.

"Even though the languages are different, we share an Eastern mentality. We respect the father and mother and a very hierarchical society and Confucianism," Sung told CNN.
"So based upon that cultural background, we exchange our emotions, what we think and what we feel. There is a low cultural barrier to crossover with our content. It is kind of a syndrome. Asian people love to enjoy Korean stuff."
In 2005, KBS exported $43 million-worth of content abroad. Last year, the network's exports reached $65 million, going to 38 countries, Sung said.
Overall in 2009, the country exported nearly $3 billion in entertainment, more than double 2002 exports, according to an article on MK Daily, a Korean news portal. Today there are up to 400 independent studios creating content for domestic and international markets.
Korea's success as an entertainment exporter began in the late 1990s when its TV series began to be broadcast in Japan, China and Southeast Asia. The government has also backed the expansion of the country's culture industry abroad, seeing it as a vehicle for soft power -- a tool to boost Korea's reputation in the region.
"They start watching Korean drama on television and then after that come the pop songs from the boy bands. All of it has influence in Thailand," said Vorasuang Duangchinda, a professor at Sripatum University in Bangkok.
"After that, they become fans of everything Korean -- Korean food, Korean culture. Many of my students can even speak Korean because of [the entertainment]."
According to Duangchinda, Thai producers are traveling to Korea to learn how to make better TV shows while Bangkok is full of dozens of cosmetic shops offering services that promise to make young women look more Korean. The professor even has one student so obsessed with the country's pop culture she's renamed herself "Mee-so," which means "smile" in Korean.

Yet there is one problem with Lu's infatuation with Korean culture: Patronizing Korean culture is perceived as unpatriotic by some in China -- so much so that female fans of K-pop boy bands say they have to form password-protected online groups to fend off accusations that their fetish with cute Korean singers is anti-Chinese.

The backlash means Lu has to hide her infatuation. "I am not proud to tell people I love Korean things," she said. "It's complicated, actually. Just like Japan, Korea is not very friendly with us [China]. Many people think Korean series are silly."

Ayah choi siwon di angkat menjadi CEO baru

Choi Siwon’s father new CEO Choi Kiho graduated from Dongguk University as an Administration major. After working for Hanhwa Group and Hanhwa Distribution, he became the president of Korean Slim Fashion. Currently, he also is an adjunct professor at Sungkonghae University. CEO Choi Ki Ho has a son and a daughter. Choi Siwon is his oldest son.

It was widely known that Choi Siwon with his good looks came from a wealthy family making the fans curious about his background. Currently, when one searches Choi Siwon on various internet portal sites, related words come up such as “Choi Siwon rich” and “Choi Siwon family.” In past June, Choi Siwon appeared on TV and explained the rumor about him being rich. He explained that while it is true that his father is the president of a trading company, he denied the rumor about him being wealthy saying he does not have a helicopter at his house.

According to a rep, Choi Siwon’s father also currently owns a trading company.

As the epitome of second generation chaebol, Choi Siwon has become the subject of envy.

Eventually maybe I'll give a final statement here. I've been trying to interact with many people outside world. But, I managed then until now. First I decided to create an account on twitter by my brother, HeeNim Kim. But I say can not do that. I'm still too weird to use anything like some of the member.

And for the second time I returned to my family in Park Lea Sea, Los Angeles, CA. younger sister in the spirit of informed and invited me to use an account on facebook. New beginning for me to hear him talk like that. I had hesitated to do so. But she urged me on. Until I create an account on facebook with are taught by my sister.
